Mr. Hadj Said said Tuesday in an interview with APS that "the lack of competition was the cause of the increase in cost of services in the tourism sector, particularly regarding current pricing for hotel and travel "adding that the competition involved the professionalism and lower prices.
"It is imperative to create the conditions for competition in the sector," he said.
In addition, Mr. Hadj Said called the tourist to "defend their rights" if evidence of a breach in the services included in the contract with the tourist establishment (hotel or travel agency).
To this end, the Ministry of Tourism has set up inspections wilaya to monitor services provided according to the contract between the client and the tourist establishment.
Mr. Hadj Said, professionalism also acquired through the diversification of tourism offers. In this sense, the services of the State Secretariat for Tourism harness themselves in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakf for creating new offerings for religious tourism and historical tourism. "
